Ava Olson (she/her)
Ava is a fourth-year Environmental Science student focusing on ecological restoration. As a kid, she was always asking questions about why the world works the way it does, and now she hopes to ask these questions at a larger scale. One of her main goals is to increase trust and reliability of public officials. She also intends to focus on providing and broadcasting more resources during severe weather events. As a ward mostly made up of college students, Ward 4 deserves a fellow student as their representative to ensure their voices and opinions are heard. Ava hopes that being on Corvallis City Council will allow her to connect with the diverse people of her ward as we all work to create a more unified, resilient community.
